Halloween Day
First up a Costco run for more candy and some needed ingredients for our traditional meal of taco soup. I decided I liked the bones pj's so much I'd just throw black jeans on the kids and let them wear their bones shirts out.
That evening we prepared the yard to light the way for our trick or treaters. Here's our cute Iron Man next to his Iron Man pumpkin.
I'm ready to pass out the candy.
I invited the Jensens over for dinner and trick or treating.
Thanks to Grandma Lind's Halloween package each kid got their own bones straw.
Eating dinner before they head out to get their candy.
Here is Davidson with Jeff, but I'm now realizing we don't have a single pic of Angie. Bummer. She took all of these great pics and in all the chaos I didn't stop to think I should take a pic of her. Sorry Ang! Thanks for all the pics!
Our first round of trick or treaters.
The little superheroes chomping at the bit to head out.
And they're off...
Let the doorbell ringing begin.
They stopped back at our house half way through to pick up Super Addie. She was pleased.
Although we only lasted a few doors. We couldn't keep up with those fast crazy boys. So we bailed and Angie was nice enough to continue on with the boys.
Jack came home a very happy camper with an entire bucket full of candy (much more than he's ever gotten in the past). He couldn't even lift it! The boys had so much fun together running from house to house. I enjoyed passing out the candy and seeing all the cute neighborhood kids. Jeff enjoyed taking the boys around trick or treating, and Laides was just thrilled to be eating a sucker!
We had a wonderful and spooky Halloween!
