Codycoma 2011 (part two)

Anna is a professional photographer and throughout the trip she was running around snapping photos with this awesome old film camera she has. So here is a look at Cody through Anna's lens...
The cabin...

The springs...

The owner of the store where we got our feather earrings, Rockstar Cowgirl.
The town...

Anna had me pose for one of her photos. I love the color of the wall behind me.
 The people of Cody...

I love how brilliantly Anna captured Cody. You are so talented Miss Anna!

After our eight hour drive Wendy and I rolled into Denver just after midnight. Luckily her flight didn't leave until 10pm the next day so we had some time to hang out.

We met Jeff for lunch at Wahoo's in Cherry Creek.

Then I took Wendy to see the beautiful view from Redrocks. Unfortunately we couldn't stay long because it was raining.
I dropped Wendy off at the airport that evening.

So there you have it. Another coma bites the dust.

Note to Wendy & Harley: Please, Please, PUHLEASE get a job in Denver when Harley graduates next fall and move here.

As for you Anna & Jessica, I don't feel like your options of moving here are as available, but if they ever become so you know you have to move in next door.

I LOVE YOU GIRLS!!!
Two thumbs up for our Codycoma!!

I haven't had a chance to really go through Anna's pictures yet... they are so great! I esp. love the ones of the Cody people. Remember the characters we saw in Cody!? From Turks (weren't those hotties from Turkey?) to Argentines.... seriously? I love the pic of Rockstar Cowgirl (so funny to think, Jessica, about you stressing over that name 2 years ago and now we've all met her!). The pic of you, Mindy, is great -- the wall w/ your eyes and esp. your feathers!

I've been craving that Mexican (I can't even remember what I had?!?!? except that it was DELICIOUS) at that place (La Costa???... I'm so not a foodie!) on the way home to Denver for weeks now. Craving that and our conversation. I miss both terribly.

I have the best friends. Really.

Wait, wait, wait... who is that last cowboy under the "people" section? Where did we see him Anna? I do not remember him. Real gun? Loaded? Or is he an actor for the daily shoot-out... This could totally go either way.

Thanks for the shout out! Glad you liked the pics! Even though I took the pictures, I still can't believe people look like that for real there too! Just hanging in the bar lookin like it's the 1900's.

The last cowboy Wendy was a Buffalo Bill impersonator Jessica and I saw after you girls left to drive home. He has even changed his name to William Cody. He was pretty funny to talk to!

So sad I missed the drive home, tasty Mexican food and talk and more of Denver. Sigh, love you!

SO sad I missed the drive to and fro Cody--but tis the price to pay to have you all visit me. I love how Cheryl is worried about all of the people looking like the pics you posted. Didn't we see any "normal" looking people, or is it just that I have lived in Cody too long? Great posts!
