Easter

We had a lovely Easter weekend.
We dyed eggs on Saturday afternoon.

Jeff crafted several superhero eggs per Jack's request. Shown below: Iron Man & Spiderman
Saturday evening we stayed up (way too late) playing games with Jay & Nachelle.
Sunday morning we rushed out the door to church (due to the previously mentioned late evening the Easter bunny didn't come until after church;)
The kids in their Easter outfits. Jack's pic was taken before church by Jeff while I was still getting Addie ready and Addie's pic was taken after church when she was hungry/tired and didn't want her pic taken. This is her "please don't do this now Mom" face.
So the Easter Bunny was a little late, but made a grand appearance non-the-less.
That crazy bunny also hid Jack's dyed eggs all over the house. He loved finding them all!
I had to help him reach the high ones.

Sunday afternoon we gathered at the Whitaker's home along with the Edgintons for a delicious meal & egg hunt.

We each cooked a different part of the meal. It made it SO much easier than making the whole thing by myself & it was all delicious! Not pictured: strawberry shortcake for dessert.
The kids braving the rain for the egg hunt.

Happy Easter 2011!

I love that little hippity hop bunny at the bottom! Jack looks so grown up, all of a sudden, in his shirt and tie and what a cute little mug! Yum, Min! Diet buster, but so worth it, right? Love the Poo tv you told me about! Sorry, I have to point out the Mickey ears on Jeff - check it out!

Dah... Mickey ears! It took me a minute but I spy it. :) Speaking of spy.. do you really keep your number 1 bucket in the pantry? Where no one can behold its cuteness??

Funny re: your eggs. When you said you had super hero eggs I thought you bought that kit. But oh no, Jeff DREW superheros! Upon closer inspection I think we bought the exact same Paas kit. :)

Cute kids, yummy food... and mostly: you're looking SKINNY!!!

Ah, we love all the fun we have! And who knew you guys took that pic of us playing settlers...we look like we are seriously studying that game. I am going to steal some of these pics for my blog because I didn't take any pics of the food on Easter and you always build your plate of food so pretty :)
