I finally made some finishing touches on our bedroom. If you remember from this post back in February I redid my bedroom, but had a few things left to do still. Here they are.
I blew up a picture of the SLC Temple (where Jeff & I were married) that my sister-in-law's mom took and had it made into a canvas. I love the way it turned out & that I can display some religion and still have it fit the look/feel of the room.
I also sewed a couple pillow cases to tie in the yellow in the room.
Those initial signs on the night stands are new as well. I got those in Phoenix when we were there in Feb.
I blew up our engagement photo to be the same size as our parents. 
I'm pretty much done with this room now. I was originally going to cover my lamp shades with some material, but the one I had in mind sold out (I can't find it anywhere) before I got around to getting it & now the plain white shades have grown on me. So they'll stay for now. I'd still like some pretty hard back books to go on my dresser to replace the so so looking ones, but other than that I'm finished! I'm still loving my bedroom makeover and it makes me happy each time I go in my room.
PS I still hate that Jeff's night stand isn't white, but that too will stay for now. I've never painted that current one because I think it's too small. I want to find a bigger/nicer white night stand and have yet to find just the right thing. Hence the blonde wood one staying put for now.

Your bedroom is so serene and peaceful, yet not boring. I love it! Those pillow cases with the pop of yellow add so much! And the temple on canvas is terrific! Way to go, Kathy! Your concept with the engagement photos of where you came from is cool and Dad and I are honored to be displayed in your gorgeous room!
Love that pop of yellow w/ the pillow cases. I'm so into yellow this spring! I'm excited to see your main big (anthro, right?) pillow in person as the up close shows greens and blues I didn't see the first go around. LOVING that pillow!
Beautiful canvas and 100x cooler that you know the photographer and didn't just buy it at DBook. Love stuff like that... so much more personal.

So LOVE how it all turned out and love the SLC canvas! I need to steal that print from you, I have been looking for a good SLC pic for my room...great job as always!
