Jamberry Nails

I'm a fan of Jamberry Nails. For those who haven't heard about these or have and are on the fence as to whether or not they work/last/are worth it, I'm here to tell you they are! (no, I'm not being paid by Jamberry to do this post. :) I just want to share my good experience.)

I purchased these via groupdealz (so I got them half off) in November and applied them to my toes about 4 days before Thanksgiving. As I was applying them I was thinking this is a pain and I probably won't be buying them again. (in fact I applied one foot one night & did the other foot the next night because it was taking too long) BUT...
...then after they stayed on my toes until JANUARY 8th (That's 48 days) and the only reason they came off then was because I peeled them off, I decided I was SOLD! So, although they are a bit of a pain to apply, they seriously stay on SO much longer than a regular pedicure, which makes it so worth the trouble. The only reason I peeled them off was because my toe nails had grown SO long it was grossing me out. :) An extreme close up of the serious nail growth. That's 48 days worth peeps.
So there you have it...if you're looking for a fun way to dress up your toes Jamberry nails offers all sorts of fun designs. I just purchased a set of polka dots that I plan to apply next. Love it!

PS Yes, I still wear a toe ring. It's been on my toe for 10 years now (I never take it off) and I'm not sure I can part with it. It's become a part of me. :) Am I sharing way too much information about my toes in this post? Probably. So please no comments about how toe rings have been "out" for years. ;)

Phew. I'm so glad you mentioned the toe ring so I don't have to.

I just left a lovely little comment but it disappeared!
Anyway, cute toes!! I had my first ever pedicure in Idaho over Christmas and it still looks great!

Melanie, how did you live in NYC and NEVER get a pedicure?! That was the ONE thing that was cheaper in the city. :)

I totally just bought the Walmart Sally Hansen Salon Effect version of these. Jayna and I were sick and I thought it would be something fun for us to do on the couch. They were like $8.00 and I love them. So fun and they have stayed on perfectly so far ( a week). I am sure the design quality of yours are better, but still when do things like this really work. Love it!

Mindy, I probably have the world's most ticklish feet...that's why I have never had a pedicure! I have kicked people in the head for touching my feet. I was able to manage my way through it, but she didn't do any of the scrubbing on the bottom of my feet. If she had, I don't know if she would have escaped unscathed! I may do it again in the summer, once people can see my toes, but I will probably tell them not to scrub the bottoms!

Melanie, that makes sense! I do sometimes jump a bit when they scrub my feet too. :)

I love your toes... and that you still wear that toe ring. It helps me recognize that they are your toes! Maybe I should buy some of those things...

Okay, so I made your gift stretch across my toes & nails AND Cheryl's toes & nails. That's 40 (!!!!) nails out of one set! So fun! We must discuss.
